How to pronounce dhol

Dhol is not pronounced as straightforward as it seems. Words taken from Punjabi and written into English that start with the letters dh aren’t pronounced with a voiced D sound. Instead, they are pronounced with a voiced T sound. Meaning the pronunciation is more like Torl, rather than dhol. Find out more by watching my video about this on either:
